Cliché

The clichè function is crucial in order to allow an excellent printing quality, The Asert range offers
three models of clichès:

• PHOTOPOLYMER 0.5 mm
• THIN STEEL 0.5 mm
• THICK STEEL 10 mm

Each one of them has different characteristics and properties which allow the customer to choose
on the basis of the type of production he has to face and of the quantity of pieces he has to
manufacture.

Photopolymer: fitting for production of low and average circulation, they are largely used by the
customers who already possess the adequate equipment for the autonomous realization of
clichès. The selection includes two different series: CG‐CR.

CG Series: developed in water. They are employed for low circulation works, where a good
printing quality is required, in relation to the moderate cost.

CR Series: developed in alcohol. It is the most successful photopolymer, thanks to the excellent
printing definition. Suitable for average circulation.
SIZES ON DEMAND OF THE CLIENT

Thin steel: medium‐high lasting circulation and good printing definition clichès. They are presensitized
on both sides, they are purchaseable both “engraved” or “not engraved”. The pricequality
ratio, based on their effective life, make them extremely competitive and convenient.

Thick steel: unbeatable when it comes to high‐quality productions. Excellent printing resolution.
The major cost (in respect of other types of clichès) is justified by the notable life in time. They are
manufactured with high‐quality tempered steel and lapped on one side; moreover it is possible to
perform the lapping of the second side on specific demand of the customer. It must be considered
that the cost of the platemaking, performed by Asert experts, will be added to the cost of the
clichè.
